Meet Our New Director

Jennifer Wilson

Meet our new Executive Director, Jenny Wilson!

“I was born Nashville, TN and raised in Brentwood, TN. I initially attended Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas after graduation in 1995, but transferred to Tennessee Technological University after a year and a half to be closer to family. I met my husband, Zach Wilson only 3 weeks after transferring to TTU at Campus Crusade for Christ. We began dating and were married in June of 1998.

I finished up my degree at MTSU in Sociology with a Minor in Psychology and a concentration in Family Studies. Shortly after graduation, I found out we were going to have our first child. I decided to put my career on hold to focus on taking care of him.

By the time he was almost two, Zach’s Engineering career brought him back to Morrison to work for his family business. We began attending Christ Community Church and I became connected with the Pregnancy Care division of Healing Hearts. I quickly moved into a position providing In-Home Counseling services to families involved with the Department of Children’s Services.

After Healing Hearts closed it’s doors, I worked for Bradford Health Services as a PRN Group Counselor, and then moved to a full time position at New Life Recovery in Cookeville as the Program Coordinator as well as Group Counselor. In 2012 New Life Recovery closed its doors, and I took a position with Catholic Charities building a new territory for In-Home Services in Grundy, Sequatchie, and Marion Counties. After a couple of years traveling these counties extensively, I decided to take a part time position with Camelot, however the part-time position quickly evolved into full-time hours and I decided to take a break from my career in order to focus on my children. The hours were long and took too much time away from my family. I have been a stay-at-home mom since 2014.

I have a wonderful husband, and 3 beautiful children. Conner is 20, and has just begun his career working in Business Administration at the family business, Wilson Cutting Systems, and is also a Real Estate Agent with Highlands Elite Real Estate. Isaiah is 17 and will be graduating this year. He plans to attend TCAT for Industrial Maintenace certification to prepare him to also work for the family business in Maintenance and Engineering. In 2018 we had a beautiful surprise baby girl, Ella, who will be 5 in April. She is the light of all of our lives, and a perfect blessing to complete our family.

I love spending quality time with my family. They are my most precious gifts from God. In my spare time, I enjoy doing renovation projects on my home, crocheting, volunteering at my daughter’s school, and helping others.

I have always had a passion for the right of every baby to be born. In high school, I participated in Youth in Government, where a friend and I drafted a mock bill to end abortion. I believe God is the creator of every human life and He has a purpose for each one. I believe God can use us through our pain and difficult situations. I believe he creates beauty from ashes, and no matter the situation in which a baby is created, God is sovereign and will have a purpose for all individuals, including the mother and the unborn baby. He wants to heal, comfort, and strengthen us through our trials. He is our ultimate provider… and He can take any situation and use it for His purposes.

I feel so blessed and am so excited to be a part of this ministry. I look forward to letting God use me to accomplish His will in any way He may choose. I ask you to pray with me for the growth of the Pregnancy Care Center… For each of our volunteers…and for God to stir in the hearts of these young women who find themselves scared and alone… let us pray that God would guide them to us and that they will choose LIFE!”
